Kennewick, WA – At the Benton Franklin Humane Society in Kennewick, Washington, every dog received a special gift this Christmas, thanks to a thoughtful initiative by volunteer Julie Saraceno.
Recognizing that the shelter lacked the funds for toys and treats, Julie created a wishlist for the dogs, and with the help of generous donors, the shelter was able to provide enough gifts for each dog.
On Christmas, staff and volunteers set up a festive scene with toys under the tree, allowing the excited pups to choose their favorite gifts, bringing joy and holiday magic to the shelter dogs.
