OMAHA, Neb. – A group of Omaha firefighters noticed a large tote parked near one of their trucks late Sunday night. It turned out to be a box of six, Labrador Retriever puppies.
The puppies, five females and one male, were abandoned outside the fire station. The tote had holes poked in the top and read “LAB PUPPIES.”
The lab puppies will be listed for adoption this week after successful surgeries at the Nebraska Humane Society.
