DULUTH, Minn. – The 36th John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon is underway.
The 36th running of the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon is a 300-mile race that begins at Billy’s Bar in Rice Lake Township and ends at Grand Portage Lodge and Casino. Surrounded by a large crowd of spectators, mushers and dogs hit the trail on Sunday morning, starting with the full marathon.
