BALLWIN, Mo. — A Goldendoodle from Ballwin is one of five service and guide dog finalists in the running for the 2023 American Humane Hero Dog Awards.
Five-year-old Moxie is a service dog who never leaves owner Katie Harris’ side. She faithfully assists Harris with everyday tasks in addition to providing support while she works as a wheelchair tennis coach and clinical social worker.
Katie Harris has a rare disease, but her service dog Moxie, makes a big difference in her life.
