Dog warden seizes 90 living dogs, finds 30 dead dogs in freezers at supposed dog rescue

MADISON TOWNSHIP, OH – The owner of a dog rescue is facing dozens of neglect and cruelty charges after the Butler County Sheriff’s Office says they found 30 dogs dead in freezers.

Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones said in a release on Friday that investigators seized more than 90 living dogs and found at least 30 dead dogs at two properties in Madison Township. Jones said the supposed dog rescue was being operating under the name Helping Hands for Furry Paws.
