LITCHFIELD, Conn — A Litchfield man and a family dog are recovering after an encounter with a bear Saturday morning.
The wife of a man who was injured in a bear attack believes the bear was just defending her cubs. Her husband suffered multiple scratches, a puncture wound to the torso and possible fractures in his hand.
