PANAMA CITY, Fla. – If you’re not first, you’re last – or at least that’s one Bay County beagle’s motto as she cruises through her competitors.
Wahini is a beagle from Youngstown who recently competed in a national dog racing competition.
“I couldn’t believe we got invited,” said Morgan Weller, owner of The Dog Trainers and Wahini’s owner. “The invitation came from AKC and ESPN they emailed me that they were doing a production in Arizona, and [I was] invited.’
Wahini competed on “Fastest Dogs USA” on ESPN in February, the show just aired on Sunday.
