RICHMOND, VA – Officials at a Richmond animal shelter shared fantastic news earlier this week about two pit bulls who were adopted together.
The younger dog, Hi, It’s Me, has been acting as a seeing-eye dog for the older one, Who Goes There. Both dogs had been in urgent need of a home due to their close bond and special needs.
Who Goes There is blind and relies on Hi, It’s Me for guidance.
Despite receiving no interest initially after a plea for their adoption, the shelter joyfully announced their adoption this Wednesday.
The dogs, who were rescued from a dire situation, have now found a family willing to care for both of them, marking a heartwarming turnaround for both the shelter and the dogs.
