HAYMARKET, VA – Brandy, a 6-year-old dog in Virginia, miraculously survived for six days under the rubble of a house that exploded after a contractor accidentally ruptured a gas line.
Brandy was discovered by an insurance inspector who heard her barking. Firefighters were surprised to find her alive, especially given the conditions she endured without food or water. Although Brandy suffered minor injuries, she is expected to recover fully.
The community is celebrating her rescue while continuing to search for two missing cats. Fire marshals are investigating the explosion, and local residents are coming together to support the affected families.
