Dog survives after being hit by car and stuck in grill for 12 hours

PORT ST. LUCIE, FL. – A heartwarming tale unfolded when a dog named Barbas was hit by a car and became trapped in the vehicle’s grill for an astonishing 12 hours.

The driver, unaware of the furry passenger, continued on her way until the following day when she discovered him. In a rush of panic and determination, she took him to St. Lucie Battery and Tire, where a team of mechanics worked carefully to free the scared pup.

Barbas, who is 1.5 years old, suffered no serious injuries and is now back with his owner, Ignacio Rangel. Rangel expressed his relief, saying, “It’s unbelievable, I thought I lost my dog.” Lenny Cruz from the auto shop remarked that it “wasn’t his time to go.”
