Witnesses reported that the dog landed on the windshield of a car driven by Peregrin Jones. The driver stopped, finding Skye alive and alert but calm on the car.
Good Samaritans and a trooper helped transport her to a veterinary center, where she was stable by 8 p.m. and later reunited with her owner.
