NORTHPORT, AL – The men and women who take care of us got a little TLC today from some furry friends. Therapy dogs visited with health care workers and staff at DCH in Northport today. These dogs bring lots of smiles when they visit.
It was part of the Hand In Paw therapy dog program. We often hear about therapy dogs visiting and providing comfort and love to patients but today Maggie and her buddy provided that same loving care to the staff at DCH. Hand In Paw leaders say this has been a growing trend especially since COVID.
