MAPLE GROVE, Minn. – A woman from Minnesota bravely chased after a bear that was chasing her dog, Zeus, down her driveway.
The intense moments were captured on her home surveillance video. The woman, Bailey Jacobson, recounted the frightening experience, mentioning how she screamed and ran back towards her house after the bear lunged at her. Jacobson had encountered three bears rummaging through her trash earlier that day. While two smaller bears retreated into the woods after her scream, the larger one pursued Zeus. Jacobson expressed relief that Zeus decided to run away.
Neither Bailey Jacobson, her dog, Zeus, nor any of the bears, were hurt during the encounter.
