PHILLIPS, ME – A game warden and their K9 located two missing toddlers in Philips, Maine Wednesday night.
Maine Game Wardens, aided by a K9 unit, successfully located two missing toddlers in Phillips on Wednesday night. The siblings, aged 3 and 2, went missing while playing outside with their older brother. After the children ran out of sight, their parents notified authorities, prompting a search effort involving ATVs, K9s, and an aircraft. K9 Storm eventually picked up the children’s scent and led rescuers to them in a heavily wooded area about half a mile from their home. The toddlers were found unharmed and reunited with their parents after being checked by EMS personnel. Sgt. Scott Thrasher commended the teamwork of all involved, particularly highlighting Warden Robertson and K9 Storm for their pivotal role in the successful rescue.
