GREENSBORO, N.C. – Following multiple carjackings, robberies, and a deadly shooting where an off-duty Greensboro officer was killed, Sheetz said it will be adding K-9 units to several locations in the Triad.
The gas station chain said this security measure is being added so customers and employees feel safer at their stores.
Signs are posted at three Sheetz locations across Greensboro. The signs warn people that K-9 units are on gas station grounds for people’s safety.
