Chicago, IL – K9 therapy dogs, led by Leo, a 3-year-old American Labrador from the Orland Park Police Department, took over a suburban mall for a “Lemonade with Leo” event.
The gathering, which featured free lemonade, face painting, and a chance to meet therapy dogs from neighboring departments, aimed to raise funds for the Orland Park law enforcement.
While Leo’s role focuses on providing comfort and easing anxiety rather than law enforcement duties, his presence, along with other therapy dogs, offered a heartwarming experience for attendees and highlighted the community support provided by the police.
