Tennessee couple wins civil suit against dog breeder after being sold sick dog

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A Robertson County judge has now issued a ruling in a case that pitted a local dog breeder against one of her customers. At question: Was the breeder financially responsible for selling them a sick dog? 

Tammy and Peter Hobbs said a Springfield animal breeder had recently sold them a dog who was diagnosed with Parvo shortly after and had to give her back. However, the Hobbs said the breeder, Julia Schklar of Home Style Kennel, never gave them a refund.
