URBANA, Ill. – It’s National Nurse Appreciation Week, and Carle Health has been putting on plenty of events. On Thursday, nurses at the clinic on Windsor Avenue in Urbana got a visit from a four-legged friend.
They say the job is stressful at times, but is always rewarding. A therapy dog came in to let the nurses unwind and relax for a bit. Bree the black lab was there for an hour and got lots of love from the nurses.
