PINELLAS COUNTY, FL – Deputies rescued a small dog after it was left in an SUV on a hot summer’s day in Pinellas County.
On August 2, a concerned citizen reported a dog trapped in a car at a courthouse parking lot in Pinellas County.
Deputies found the car locked with the dog panting heavily inside. With the outside temperature at 88 degrees, the car’s interior reached around 120 degrees.
