Wiener Wonderland is Anchorage’s top attraction for dachshunds

Anchorage, AK – A beloved holiday tradition known as “Wiener Wonderland” was recently disrupted by a thief in Anchorage, Alaska, but the spirit of the event lives on.

Marvin and Kelly Kneaper have been creating a festive “Wiener Wonderland” for over a decade, a Christmas display dedicated to dachshunds.

Local dachshund owners often visit to take yearly pictures with the decorations. Unfortunately, the iconic Wiener Wonderland sign was recently stolen by a Grinch.

Despite the setback, the Kneapers’ holiday spirit remains strong, with a family friend building them a new sign. They suspect a teenager took the original sign, but they remain optimistic, continuing their tradition and welcoming visitors each year.
