WOODFIN, N.C. – A talkative dog named Aya seems to have a lot to say, which may speak to how far she’s come since Asheville firefighters rescued her four years ago.
It’s not a leap to say her recovery is an inspiration. Aya’s a finalist for the Pibborafi Rescue Hero contest, while also raising money for a local animal shelter.
