Canine officers showcase their skills in the K-9 Olympics in Connecticut

ENFIELD, CT – The 32nd annual K-9 Olympics returned to Enfield, featuring 30 police dogs and their handlers showcasing their skills.

This year’s event included 29 teams from local and state police departments, plus the Pelletier family with their dog, Rosso. Visitors enjoyed displays of police vehicles and weapons.

Competitors navigated a water pit and an obstacle course designed to simulate real-life scenarios faced by K-9 units, concluding with tactical and obedience drills judged by former handlers.

The event aims to raise funds for local charities, building on the $11,000 raised in 2023 for causes like the Hometown Foundation Special Olympics and Mark-9.

  2. I came across your site and wanted to share something I’ve been using myself. I started testing a tool called GetResponse. I’m not super technical, but I had a landing page and email sequence running in less than an hour. If you’ve been thinking about streamlining things, it could be worth a look.
